Project group: Petrology of Raw Materials

The project group on the Petrology of Raw Materials is part of the European Center of Just Transition Research and Impact-Driven Transfer (JTC) (https://strukturwandel.uni-halle.de/jtc/) and investigates the sourcing, processing and recycling of primary and secondary mineral and metallic raw material deposits. The aim is to ensure a secure and sustainable supply of critical raw materials, achieve climate and digital goals and reduce dependency on imports from single country sources. A special focus is placed on the potential of the regions in southern Saxony-Anhalt.
